On the 3rd of November 2009
a meeting with specialists of the Dutch Ministry of Finance was held with representatives of the MainCRO, at which it was discussed perspectives of providing Ukraine with technical and financial support for further
implementation of public internal financial control.
At the beginning of the meeting Head of the Department of PIFC Harmonization Maryna Barynina denoted
measures, for which technical and financial assistance from the Dutch Government
would be relevant, that is:
- holding of
seminars-trainings on PIFC for top management of central executive authorities;
- upgrading of professional level of specialists of the central harmonization unit, that in 
the future will train and give methodological assistance to new internal audit units of central executive authorities;
- outspread of the knowledge on
PIFC to a regional level.
Herewith Maryna Barynina pointed that
first task at the current stage is approval of manuals and guidelines on
internal control and internal audit and also documents on activity of the
Central Harmonization Unit.
Representative of
the Dutch Ministry of Finance Jan van Tuinen, in his turn, told about readiness for concluding a bilateral memorandum for 2010 on providing the MainCRO of Ukraine with technical and financial assistance for PIFC introduction in Ukraine.
In conclusion of the meeting Maryna Barynina thanked for the opportunity of future cooperation and Jan van Tuinen thanked specialists of the MainCRO for the desire of acquiring of new experience in PIFC sphere.
