On the 27^th of April current year within the framework of the mission of experts group from the World Bank in the MainCRO the bilateral meeting was held to discuss the matters on introduction of the "Public Finance Modernization" project.

On this meeting the World Bank was represented by: Cem Dener - project manager; Svitlana Budagovska and Oleksiy Balabushko – economists.

Deputy Chairman Olena Chechulina opened the meeting and confirmed the MainCRO’s readiness to take part in all activities that will be carried out within the framework of introduction of the "Public Finance Modernization" project.

In his turn Cem Dener told participants about the current situation on the performing of the Project and pointed that during 2009 the components were implemented very slowly. He also underlined that it does not concern the MainCRO, which proved itself as disciplined and organized performer. Also he told about his disturbance about position of the new component managers but after the meeting in the Ministry of Finance that was held in the morning of the 27^th of April he expressed his intensions on faster tempos of implementing of the Project this year.  

            Summing up, Cem Dener assured that in future the World Bank will provide the MainCRO with assistance in implementing of the component by which the improving of public internal financial control is envisaged.
