On the 27th and 28th of January current
year a meeting with representatives of the Dutch Ministry of Finance – Jan van Tuinen, coordinator of technical assistance, and experts Klaas van Diermen and Manfred van
Kesteren was held by Deputy Chairman of the MainCRO Ihor Stefaniuk
with participation of representative of the Department of Reform of Budget System
of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine Tetyana Kachan. Experts of the MainCRO
and the Dutch Ministry of Finance discussed the issues on cooperation in the sphere
of reforming of public internal financial control in 2010.
Ihor Stefaniuk presented his respect and gratitude to the foreign partners for their initiative in providing the
MainCRO with technical assistance.
Head of
the Department of Harmonization of Public Internal Financial Control of the MainCRO Maryna Barynina presented the draft Plan of international
cooperation of the MainCRO on 2010 and clarified all
its items.
Parties
agreed on necessity of clear coordination of activities with all international
organisations, in particular SIGMA and PAUCI that also intend to provide Ukraine
with the assistance on implementing of reforms.
The
Dutch experts presented suggestions concerning trainings on internal audit and
certification of internal
auditors in Ukraine
that was discussed in detail by the participants of the meeting.
At the end of the meeting Jan van Tuinen expressed his gratitude to the Ukrainian colleagues for a readiness to continue introduction of the best European practice in the PIFC sphere in Ukraine and noted willingness of the Dutch party to support further initiatives
of Ukraine
in this sphere.
